Use multiple contexts

You’re not limited to one context. Store as many as you like — a client brief, a product glossary, an ongoing thread — and switch between them depending on what you’re writing.

Storing several

Each time you select text and choose Store as New Context, a new card is added to the context panel. New contexts are added to the top of the stack.

The context panel with multiple contexts stored

When the panel is collapsed, it shows a deck of your most recent cards. Tap the deck to expand it into a scrollable list of everything you’ve stored.

Only one is active at a time

This is the key rule: exactly one context is active, and only the active one is sent when you refine or examine.

  • Single-tap a card to make it active — it gets a colored border.
  • Tap the active card again to deactivate it (then no context is sent).
  • The active card is also where Store Context appends new text.

So switching contexts is just tapping the one you want before you refine.

Managing the stack

In the expanded view you can:

  • Double-tap a card to edit its text.
  • Use each card’s close (✕) button to remove just that context.
  • Clear All to empty the stack (the panel hides once there are no contexts left).

Tip: Keep contexts short and focused. A tight, relevant note steers the result better than a long dump of everything.
